General Terms and Conditions – Bed & Breakfast Maison le Rêve

Article 1 – Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

• B&B / accommodation: the Bed & Breakfast providing lodging and breakfast
• Guest: the individual making a reservation and/or staying at the B&B
• Lead guest: the person making the reservation and responsible for all accompanying guests
• Agreement: the reservation or booking between the guest and the B&B

Article 2 – Applicability

1. These terms apply to all reservations, bookings, and stays at the B&B.
2. By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these terms and the house rules.

Article 3 – Reservation and agreement

1. Reservations can be made via phone, email, website, or booking platforms.
2. The agreement is concluded once the reservation is confirmed by the B&B.
3. The B&B reserves the right to refuse a reservation without stating reasons.

Article 4 – Payment

1. Payment is made according to the agreements at the time of booking.
2. The B&B may require a deposit or full prepayment.
3. Additional costs incurred during the stay must be paid upon departure.

Article 5 – Cancellation

1. Cancellations must be made in writing or by email.
2. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing.
3. In case of no-show, the full reservation amount may be charged.

Article 6 – Stay

1. Check-in and check-out take place at the times indicated by the B&B.
2. Guests must comply with the house rules.
3. The B&B may request guests who cause disturbance or fail to comply with rules to leave without refund.

Article 7 – Liability of the guest

1. Guests are liable for any damage caused to the accommodation or its contents by themselves or their companions.
2. Damage must be reported immediately.

Article 8 – Liability of the B&B

1. The B&B is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
2. The B&B is not liable for injury or damage during the stay, unless caused by gross negligence.
3. Use of the accommodation and facilities is at the guest’s own risk.

Article 9 – Excursions and activities

1. The B&B may provide information about third-party activities.
2. Any assistance with bookings is purely a service.
3. The B&B is not the organizer of such activities.
4. Participation is entirely at the guest’s own risk.
5. The B&B is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from third-party activities.
6. No guarantees are given regarding quality or safety.

Article 10 – Force majeure

The B&B is not liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to force majeure, including natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, pandemics, or government measures.

Article 11 – Privacy

Personal data is used solely for reservations, administration, and communication, and handled in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 12 – Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the B&B is established.
